Taking the next step can be difficult. We tend to get into a rut so easily, and we miss the opportunity. Taking The Next Step is a weekly reminder to take action. Be deliberate about your manhood, and you relationships with your wife and kids. What do you need to do to become more of the man, the husband, the father that you were created to be?

Here is this week’s edition of Take The Next Step!

Take The Next Step!

It has been a quiet week around my home the past few days. One of my younger kids has been at camp, and my oldest daughter is there helping. My oldest son is at his grandmother’s house for the week, and another of the younger kids leaves for camp tomorrow.

It has been pretty quiet around the house, and that has been pretty boring. I’m looking forward to having them all together again this weekend.

I order to celebrate, we are going to go to Mansfield, Missouri, next week and see the home of Laura Ingalls Wilder, author of the Little House on the Prairie books. It will be a fun family outing while we are all still together, before our oldest daughter heads off to college next month.

And in the process, I’ll let them know just how much they were missed while they were gone. What do you do to show your kids you miss them when they aren’t at home?

If they have been gone this summer, go tell them you missed them. Do it soon!

Laura Ingalls Wilder Home – Here is the official website for the Wilder home in Mansfield, MO. If you are in the area, you should check it out.
