Taking the next step can be difficult. We tend to get into a rut so easily, and we miss the opportunity. Taking The Next Step is a weekly reminder to take action. Be deliberate about your manhood, and you relationships with your wife and kids. What do you need to do to become more of the man, the husband, the father that you were created to be?

Here is this week’s edition of Take The Next Step!

Take The Next Step!

It’s Friday, and the weekend is here. For most of us, our kids are back in school, and the routine has started to settle in. This weekend, why don’t you pick a classic movie and enjoy it with your family?

There are lots of options you can choose from. You can find one that’s a few years old, that your family enjoys. Perhaps you want to go back a couple of decades and watch something from the 70s or 80s, like Star Wars or The Breakfast Club. Maybe you could go old school, and watch something from the 50s or 60s, and open up a whole new world for your kids, with a movie like Casablanca or Gone With The Wind.

Whatever you do, make it fun. Pop some popcorn, buy a bag of candy, or order some pizza. Pull out the bean bags and plop down in front of the TV for a while this weekend together.

Oh, and put down the phone. Watch the movie, without checking your mobile device. Give your family your time for a couple of hours without that little gadget crowding in.

Enjoy!
